Grandparents' visit

Well, over our "Spring Break" my Grandparents were here.  It is always so much fun to see them again.  Here is a picture of them.  I am so thankful for such wonderful grandparents!!

One fun thing we did while they were here was to go to a place called Winter Park.  There are tons of little shops, restaurants, a train station, and rose garden.  We go there every year they come down, and we always eat at the same restuarant, called Panullos!!

My mom and I always split the same thing there.  It is a wonderful calzone!!  Doesn't that look delicious?!?!

My Grammy, mom, and I were walking and looking in differnt shops, and I saw this bike.  I just had to stop and take a picture of it!!

As the girls shopped, my Papa and Dougie played a game of Cribbage.

We took a picture of my grandparents, Dougie, and I this year.  This will be a very special picture always!!

Just for the enjoyment of it, look at the little car I saw on the way to Winter Park!!!

Here is one rose I loved in the garden.  I just think it is so pretty.

Another day we girls went to some furniture shops and just looked around.  In one of the shops, I spotted this little rabbit penned up.  Isn't he (or she?!?!) cute?

We also played a lot of games at the house!!

That's all for right now.  Hope everyone is having a great week!!!

2013 Youth Rally

Well, I know I haven't posted for a long time.  Sorry.  We have been so busy.

The most recent highlight of our year was our annual youth rally at church.  It is always so much fun.  Brother David does such an amazing job putting everything together.  It is WAY better than any other youth rally we go to, and I am not kidding.  I am so thankful for the best youth pastor ever.

The theme for this year's youth rally was "Stand Up. Speak Up."  Everyone got green t-shirts, so the whole auditorium was just a flood of green!!

There were many different games and very, very good preaching by the missionary James Hoffmeister.  Here are some pictures of the games.

                                                           Hot Potatoe Baby Food!!

Jessica was a good sport and ate the disgusting baby food!  Way to go, Jessica.

Then we played Bible Jeapardy.  Here are the girls!!!

                                                            And here are the boys.

Our youth group sang "Count The Cost".

                                                                      Go Audrey!!

I am so thankful for Miss Lauren.  If she is there, anything and everything is fun!  Love you, Miss Lauren!

Audrey is so sweet!  I am so thankful for her.

This is Lanie and I.  So glad they moved here to come to our church.

                                                               Love this Lauren too!! :)

After the youth rally was over on Saturday night, there were a lot of fun games to play.  There was carpetball ( my favorite! ) , ping pong, foosball, volleyball, and basketball.  Here are a couple pictures of some people playing games.

Love the intentness of Audrey's face while setting up her balls for carpetball.

Bro. David and I playing ping pong!

That is all for now.  I will be posting soon on our visit with my grandparents!!
