Back in June some friends of ours got married. I took lots of pictures!!! Here are just a few of them.
My friend, Abby was the brides sister, and so she was the maid of honor. :) She is such a blessing to me! Love you, Abby.
2 days after the wedding, the youth group ages 13-17 from our church went on a youth trip to North Caroline and Virginia!!
At about, oh midnight or so, our tire blew!
We had a 12 hour drive that night, and we were all very tired by the time we got into the hotel at 4:00 that morning!! But bus rides are always so much fun when you are with your friends and especially when everyone is tired!!!! :)
The first day's activities were going to Sliding Rock, Coon Tree Place, and Looking Glass Falls. The water was soooo cold, but even though we were all shivering it was still a lot of fun!!
This is Sliding Rock. You sit down and go flying down into freezing water!! :)
Looking Glass Falls. God's creation sure is amazing!!! We were actually allowed to swim down there!! :) It was really fun.
Coon Tree Place. I didn't do this one. Just jumping off rocks into freezing cold water isn't quite my thing. :) I had had enough of the cold water by the time we went there after Sliding Rock and Looking Glass Falls.
Miss Lauren, our youth pastor's wife. :)
Good times with friends!!
It was a special treat to be able to go to a camp meeting in North Carolina and hear our pastor preach!! Great faces :) and an even better sermon about seeing Jesus in every book of the Bible.
After we got back from that trip, my dear friend came down for another visit. It was hard to say goodbye, and I'm so glad that she is coming back in a month and a half!! Can't wait, Abby!!
Then in July our youth group from church packed up the bus and off to camp we went!!
Now we are back home from everything, and I've been spending lots of time with my little buddy, Wes on Sundays and Thursdays.
:) He is such a cute little baby boy!! Love him.
Well, that's all for now. Hopefully I will be posting more often now that summer is over!
