Our Little Visitor
On Wednesday my little buddy came over for a few hours. :) I was so excited for him to come and to spend some time with him!! Here are just a few pictures. ;)
Cutest little smile! ;) And that hat.....so adorable.
Look at the cute little half smile. ;)
A little pianist. :p
We were so glad to have Abby with us when he came over. :)
He loves his little balls.
What a cutie!
I love it when babies examine their hands or feet...something new to them. :)
I'll be posting soon on Abby's trip here. She left yesterday. :( We always have such a great time, and the time that she is here flies by too quickly. Can't wait to see her again in May! Miss you, Abby!

Never Ending.....
There is a never ending supply of projects going on around here....mostly gifts either for babies soon to arrive, for birthdays, for missionaries (to remind them we are praying for them), and everything in between. =)
My latest crocheted dishcloths were for our good friend, Mrs. Holt, a missionary in Sierra Leone, Africa. Some people in our church were sending a package over to the Holts, so I got busy working on dishcloths and a letter!!

A young lady from our church is living with and helping the Holts for a year, so I included a letter for her and a button bookmark. =)
This bookmark works great in any book!!!!
This is such a quick and easy thing to make. Who wouldn't love such a cute little bookmark?!?! The tutorial for it is found here.
That's all for now. I hope everyone is having a great March so far!! Time goes by so quickly...can't believe we are already into March!!! =)

Wesley
This little boy was born just over a year ago. He was actually born premature. As of now, Wesley is a healthy happy little boy. He has grown to be the size he should be...praise the Lord!!! On Saturday we went to his birthday party! I just wanted to share some pictures of this sweet little one!!!
| When I first held him he was still very tiny because he was early. :)
A few days after he was born we got to go see him, but no one besides his mommy and daddy were aloud to hold him. This picture was taken when we got to see him for the first time.
So tiny and yet so perfect. ;)
|
| Every chance I got I loved to get my hands on him. ;) Here we are with his mom and dad. As he got older we were aloud to hold him much more. :)))) These pictures below were taken at his birthday party. |

Malcolm
A year ago a little boy was born into our church. His parents brought him over when he was about 4 days old for me to hold him. From that point on I could never resist holding this cute little guy. He turned one almost a week and a half ago. It's so sad to watch little babies grow up so fast. I spend a lot of time with Malcolm and am so thankful for him.
| So tiny! |
| As you can tell, I was so happy to be able to hold my lil' buddy for the first time while he was still so little. |
| We even got to see his eyes that day. :))))))
|
I spend a lot of time with Malcolm. I'm so glad that he loves me and wants me to hold him!! I enjoy every minute of it.
We all love holding him!!!!
Sadly I don't have any pictures of my dad holding him. Sometime I'll have to get one. :)
Such a happy little guy.
These pictures below were taken the day after his 1st birthday.
So thankful for this little guy. I'm looking forward to him coming over on Wednesday!!!!!!!!

Back Tracking
Well, I'm happy to be able to say that I have figured out a way to get pictures to post onto my blog. I have no idea why Blogger won't upload them and put them on, but that doesn't matter now because I have figured out a new way!! Let's go back a loooooong way here. :)
Back in November for Thanksgiving my family went to St. Augustine...our traditional place for Thanksgiving!!!! Despite the very cold weather and very strong winds, which made it even colder, we all had a wonderful time together as a family!! Here are just a few pictures from the trip. :)
After St. Augustine our friend from Wisconsin, Abby, came for a visit.
Then in December it was off to South Caroline to visit our family. We always have such a wonderful time there. It's so hard to say goodbye. We are already looking forward to the next time we go!!!
This is my cousin, Maggie. I can't believe how much she has grown up since the last time I saw her. She is such a sweet, bubbly little girl. Love her!!!!
For some reason I don't have pictures on the computer from that trip. If I ever get to putting them on, I'll go back and post some here. :)
2 days after we got back from South Caroline, we headed out on a youth trip to South Florida. The first day we spent the whole day doing Operation Samaria in several different towns. Operation Samaria is where we stand out on the street and hold Scripture signs. :) The weather was so cold. No one knew that it was going to be cold though, so we didn't pack winter clothes. All we had were the sweaters we brought. So we were QUITE cold. But, we survived and had a great time!!
The girls. :)
I love it when Caroline and Riley (pictured above) come on the youth trips!!
Love this picture so much!
And of course there is always crocheting going on around my house. :) I recently made some dishcloths for a lady at church. And also the scarf pictured below was for Abby.
If you would like to see more pictures of the scarf. Head on over to my Etsy shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/thepolkadottedrose?ref=search_shop_redirect.
Happy Friday!!!
